It's time for another installment of AskMe's identify that song sample...

I've been trying to figure out where the opening to Dink's Green Mind came from. The lyrics/ sample goes as follows:

I've had it up to here. Listening to a small segment of people trying to put down America. America is the greatest land on earth, and we oughta be proud of what we have.

I'm proud of America, I'm proud of our people and I'm going to prove it.

We're American and damn proud of it.

Frankly I'm getting a little ticked off.

Go to hell.

Is this from something? The voices remind me of several of the characters from Animal House, but that could be just me hearing things that aren't there.

Friendly as Fascism - some sort of talk show or underground video?

Thanks for that tellurian, I'm pretty sure that's actually the site I used to copy the opening lyrics. Pity I didn't read it closer.

The thing is, I don't think that site is right, when I listen to the song, I really don't hear a woman's voice in the "Frankly I'm getting a little ticked off." line. Especially when you google the dialogue and see that it was also used as a sample by Consolidated. I suspect that this came from somewhere else, and I am willing to be totally wrong about this. But they use the same sample at the end of the song in a completely different way, and that makes me suspicious.

I suspect I might change my opinion if I could find the original video, but youtube and video.google have failed me.
