Excel help please: Is there a keystroke for Insert->Name->Define? Can I make one? How? I use this a ton in my work.

Best answer: Just pressing Alt and then I, N, D quickly but not all together can be pretty quick with practice.

Response by poster: Awesome! Thanks! You both have made my workday infinitely easier today, as well as every work Friday for the next couple of years... I wish I had been so annoyed as to ask this years ago!

For future reference, more keyboard shortcuts like this can be found by opening Help and searching for "keyboard shortcuts". There's a huge categorised list of them.

Well, not sure if this is useful or not, but if you are just creating named ranges, you can simply highlight the cells you want, then type the name in the upper left box (that typically shows the Cell Coord, A1, B2, etc). It adds the named range automatically.

Then if you simply type (or select from the dropdown menu) that name, it will highlight the cells in the range.

I use this a lot for defing multiple print-areas. Though I'm sure there's an easier way.

If you need to actually edit the named ranged, then the tips above are probably easier.
