Da Hool: Meet Her At The Love Parade (techno, 2001); trying to find a specific remix.

The original version is essentially all done on a synthesizer. But there's one remix out there, perhaps more, which uses tuned kettle drums, with just the *best* amount of reverb ever, to repeat the theme; as well as what I believe may be a little crowd ambience. I need this remix. The Dr. Motte and Westbam mix is close; it has the tuned kettle drums but they're not nearly as bombastic and they included 303 noodling over the top which wasn't really necessary. Internets please help me!

Might it have been the Nalin & Kane remix? I seem to remember kettle drums in that one but I am far from sure.

Best answer: You know what, I'm talking out of my ass here. I just dug up my old Meet Her at the Love Parade single and the Nalin & Kane remix is not very close to what you describe.

My guess has to be the Fergie mix (which I don't have, sorry). The iTunes Store preview gives a hint of crowd ambience on that one and it seems fairly bombastic to say the least.

Response by poster: I managed to find audio previews of the Fergie and Nalin & Kane mixes. Close! And, the Fergie mix is quite good. There's also some from some Italian or French gentlemen that, I am sorry to say, brought shame upon myself and my family by causing me to jump up on my desk at work and start twirling glowsticks and howling.

But that is neither here nor there. Argh, remix, why do you hide from me?

I would also like to know the name of this remix.. having also been a fan of that track.

I even dug through my drawers to find the old single I bought back in 97 :)
