What is BurnLounge? A pyramid scheme? Anyone have any experience with?

My sister is about to invest in BurnLounge.com (Sorry I am new and don't know how to add a link). I suspect it being a pyramid scheme. But one of the spokesmen is Rick Dees who to me seems to be too well known to be involved in a pyramid scheme. I dont know does anyone know anything about it?

Oh yeah. Just read the details. Low introductory fee, sell to friends, then upgrade to a higher end retailer package for $600 a year. The classic pyramid scheme has investment fees that are way higher than the expected sales volume, and as such you need to sell others on the investment themselves, not the product.

Definitely sounds like a scheme to me.

I know one of the guys that's trying to market this. He's in to a LOT of "Multi-Level Marketing" scams, er, "things". So, um, yeah.

BUT, this guy IS pretty wealthy, for what it's worth. He gets in early on these things.

Sigh. I used to try to stop people from getting involved in MLM foolishness, but ultimately it's pointless. Everyone likes to think they'll be at the top of the pyramid when it crashes.

Think of it as a $500 lottery ticket.

Sure, Rick Dees wrote the music and lyrics to 'Disco Duck,' but the recording is credited to Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots.
