Final Fantasy to become polygamous?

Are there any plans for Square Enix to release future Final Fantasy games on other (non PS3 or handheld) consoles?
I really don't want to fork over the cash for a PS3, but it's gonna have to happen if Final Fantasy XIII+ exist solely on that console. I know they have ported XI over to the 360 and remade III for the DS, so given that there are ties to the two other major companies it doesn't seem like they really have an exclusive deal with Sony, but I haven't heard of any definite news about it.

I believe there is a FF 12 side story being released on the DS.
I've heard no news that the main line of FF games (FF 13 and FF13 Versus) will appear on anything but the PS3.
The outlook doesn't look to great either. The xbox 360 is currently dead in the water in Japan, with sales of the console running neck and neck with the Gamecube. Given the graphics show off at E3, it is unlikely the game would port to the Wii without significant loss in graphical quality.
If what you want is a high profile, high quality Japanese RPG, and don't care as much about the Squaresoft brand, might I suggest Lost Odyssey, coming out sometime in 2007 for the Xbox 360. It is currently being developed by Mistwalker Studios, which was started by the original developer of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi. It look to have many of the same trappings and polish that the FF series will have.
Some links:
*A rather effusive article hyping up Lost Odyssey.
*Mistwalker's own site. More info on several more RPGs in develop, including Blue Dragon, a more Dragon Quest like game, for the 360.
I am sorry for the lack of links on the FF 12 DS side story. It only recently hit the Japanese magazines in the last several days.

I would second the DS, you already have one and with its incredible showing in Japan (a few weeks ago it captured the entire top ten list for software!) developer support for it will only grow. It is not a graphical powerhouse but more then capable of delivering nice graphics, and seeing how well FF3 has done for it so far I would not be suprised to see other major RPG franchises launch for it before too long. Also I believe a Crystal Chronicles will be released for it next year in addition to FF12 side story, and Square Enix has 5 or 6 other titles in developement for it as well.
