Do you have experience using web-based collaborative sticky notes and annotation services?

I am looking for an efficient way to work with clients and web developers in the approval/comment stage of site development. I'd like to be able to collaboratively highlight and post sticky notes right on web layouts. Diigo looks like it would do what I need - does anyone have any pros or cons to report on using Diigo? I don't care about the bookmarking features as much as the annotation services - sharing notes and comments. Are there any alternative methodologies that you use and like? My clients aren't particularly tech or web savvy so it needs to be a system that is simple to use.
