Can anyone point me to an MP3/CD to download/purchase of the song that plays over the "theme song" that plays over the speakers in Japan's Don Quijote stores?

There's a video game that has this song in it: Yakuza for PS2. If you can't find the song elsewhere, you could rent Yakuza, go to a Don Quijote store in the game, and record the sound.

Yes, Yakuza has reignited my nostagia for this peppy little tune. Aside from the technical hurdles involved with recording it from the game, there's distortion and ambient noise in the game version of the store that (while making it more realistic in the game) detracts from the music itself.

The song is called "Miracle Shopping" (katakana: ��) sung by Tanaka Maimi (0-ޤ�), a Don Quijote store employee. (!!) One thing you should know is that there is a para-para version, for dancing, which is NOT the same as the actual song they play in the stores. So don't buy that.

I've been reading Japanese comments saying it's sold at Don Quijote stores (esp. in Tokyo), so you may have to get someone living in Japan to purchase it and send it to you. I came upon an MP3 link on a bulletin board, but it was about a month old and had expired, sadly.
