Please list your favorite online shopping sites, from a design, user experience, and functionality perspective.

I work for a small consumer electronics manufacturer, looking to overhaul our e-commerce website.

I am looking for both web (department) stores and (especially) manufacturer stores that give you a good shopping experience.

We're also looking to keep people coming back to our site with community-based, interactive features, such as product reviews, forums, RSS feeds, etc, so please list any sites with those features.

Cool web 2.0 features, of course, get a bonus!

I like Zappos for the most part. It's a really simple to use site, with not a lot of flashy stuff that's useless.

second Zappos and the previous thread. Nice design ideas. Community interaction would have to go to Amazon.

Thirding Zappos. And besides a useful and well categorized website, they have a KILLER return policy - you have 360 days, they pay for your return shipping and all it takes is printing out a label from their website.

My favourite Web electronics retailer in terms of how up to date it is, the features, and the whole experience is eBuyer. I think they have a US wing, although are based in the UK primarily.

Apple's online store is really nice, IMHO.

I was reminded of this because of a blog I just read about frustrations of trying to order something at Dell's web site.

Another vote for Zappos. There are so many ways to browse and search, and they have multiple-view photos of their products. Also love their customer reviews.

I get the feelting that they spared no expense on their site. Even their food descriptions are well written.
