Horace Mann School teacher search

For my Mom - I am searching for an English teacher, Edward H Simpson, who taught at the Horace Mann School in NYC, at least during the 1970's and into the 1980's (perhaps longer). Are there any alumni from that time who might know how I might contact him? Thank you

This is perhaps too obvious a question even to be asked, but have you tried contacting Horace Mann School directly, and/or the Horace Mann Alumni Association?

(I graduated from a (public) residential school in 1984, and our alumni association seems to know where most students (and faculty) are these days.)

ZabaSearch shows an Edward H. Simpson in the Bronx, who was born in 1927, which would put him in his 40s or 50s when he was teaching, if that's the right person.
