Who does the soundtrack to this Japanese biker Documentary

Who plays the music on the soundtrack to the movie Godspeed you Black Emperor!, a documentary about japanese biker gangs? IMDB has no info and copies of the DVD I've seen have no info. It sounds like Japanese surf rock, but I don't have a clue as to who it possibly could be.

Would also like to find out where to find more if possible.

Could it be the band, Godspeed You Black Emperor? That sounds like the kind of music they'd play.

I don't know who it is but it's certainly not GYBE! as that's where they go their name from and they didn't form till the mid 90s.

I never knew that's where the band GSYBE got their name from. Thanks for the heads up.

Best live show I've ever seen, by the way. St. Patrick's Day, 2003.

Japanese surf rock from 1976? Are you serious?

No idea who it could have been, but for a modern take on Japanese garage surf rock'n'roll, try The Neatbeats, Rat Holic, The El Caminos, Rockin' Enocky and The Fabulous Mach Kung-Fu. And of course if you don't already know about Guitar Wolf, you should be ashamed.
