I discovered Mark Ryden, and one or two similar artists in this AskMe thread, and I really like the style. Who are some other artists in this genre (pop surrealism?) that I might also enjoy?

Kirsten Anderson, the author of "Pop Surrealism", owns Roq la Rue - their archive is a good place to find a lot of this, too (like Ray Caesar and Lori Earley).

Check out Juxtapoz magazine as they cover a wide range of lowbrow and up and coming pop artists, and Ryden is featured there all the time... as well as the many artists who these days imitate him. If stuff like Ryden is what you want, you won't have a hard time finding it as there are many copy cats out there... some good, some bad.

She doesn't have the same artistic technique, but the same cute vs violence themes pop up in her work - Junko Mizuno!
