Question: Display problems with a Sony Vaio PCG-C1VE

My girlfriend has acquired a second-hand Sony Vaio PCG-C1VE laptop. The OS is Windows XP. Her problem is that she can't get the display out of 640x480. She's looking for display drivers, specifically video drivers and monitor drivers if such things exist - she can't find them anywhere.

Has anyone got any ideas?

This looks like the link to Sony Vaio support for Europe. Unfortunately they don't take just the model number to get you to the download page, they need the serial number/product code from the laptop itself. Kind of a pain, but sometimes Sony is a bit backwards. That'd be the first place I'd look, if you haven't already.

It's an ATI Rage Mobility P/M. Use the driver that ships with XP.
The C1VE should have the same video hardware as the C1VN: an ATI Rage chipset and a 1024x480 screen.
Thanks folks, she sorted the problem out by stumbling across a page on the ATI website.
