Name the song and possibly movie...

Late 70s, early 80s movie about the hijacking of an airliner by middle eastern terrorists. Based on a true story. The heroine ends up being one of the flight attendents, possibly played by Sybil Danning. She's German and at one point is forced to seperate all Jewish persons on board. The movie may be Mivtsa Yonatan.

At one point she sings a song to the head hijacker who is deeply moved. Do I have the right movie and what was the beautiful song she sang to him?

The plot seems vaguely like the Chuck Norris movie "Delta Force", but I doubt that is what you are looking for . . .

Was it Eretz Hatzvi' ("Land of Deer") performed by Yehoram Gaon?

Best answer: I don't know about the song, but this may be the movie you're thinking of: The Taking of Flight 847: The Uli Derickson Story. Apparently Delta Force was also based at least in part on Ms. Derickson's story.
