Did Jimmy Page ever wear a Nudie suit onstage?

Mr. Lynsey got the live Led Zeppelin DVD for Christmas and we have been enjoying it ever since. In one of the concerts on the 2nd DVD, it looks to me as if Jimmy Page is wearing a Nudie suit. Any rock historians, Led Zep freaks or Nudie aficionados know if Jimmy Page ever wore a Nudie suit onstage?

It probably is a Nudie suit. In this interview, Ben Harper mentions that Nudie "did all those great Led Zeppelin suits.

The fabulous Nudie Cohn, rodeo tailor, also made suits for Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, ZZ Top and many others. He started out with country couture, but moved on to outfit many R&R stars.

Besides the pics of suits found on his site, here are two famous Nudie suits...

Gram Parsons in his famous marijuana Nudie suit.

Fatman's Nudie Suit Story and a pic of him in the suit.

Wouldn't I just love to own me a Nudie suit!

duh, just saw your thread in metatalk lynsey- sorry for duplicating a few of your posted links, but oh well, that Gram Parson's Nudie marijuana suit can never get too much play, if you ask me.

quonsar, I realize this is a matter of some controversy among the Zepheads but I am firmly in the camp which believes that it was JP Jones who lost the bustle. True, you can make arguments that Page was the loser, and I've heard many, but they just don't ring true to me--listen to the keyboard tracks in "D'yer Maker" backwards and I think you'll come around.

Response by poster: No worries, mjj! I've been fascinated with Nudie suits ever since I read I'm With The Band by Pamela Des Barres - oh I'd love to have one. And you're right, Gram Parsons' famous suit is not to be missed. Oh to have a Nudie suit!
