What's-that-song filter. Anyone know the name of the song that plays in the first half of NBC's Jim-and-Pam centric commercial for the new season of "The Office"?

Googling for the only lyrics I can make out -- "tears that I've cried over you" -- yields nothing. Ideas? It sounds like a band in the Coldplay or Keane vein, but based on the voice of the singer I don't think it's actually either of those bands.

I don't know, but what is up with the ad before watching an NBC ad?

No joy yet on this forum with the same question, but if it helps it sounds to me like it's

[something something] ... rise up with you, hiding the tears that I've cried over you.

I suspect hazelshade has already been to that forum, TwoWordReview.

Also, wow, I had to watch an ad before NBC let me watch the MAIN ad.

Response by poster: So sad, the hive mind failed me. Luckily, the answer (band: Lamar; song: "Stars") has been posted here.
