Help me identify this picture

Do you recognize this vaguely anime-esque picture? The girl in it bears a strong resemblence to someone I'm close to, and I'd like to buy a framed print of it if such can be had.

Not much of a trail there, I'm afraid; I found it on some random person's myspace page.

There's something that looks like a date and initials, or a symbol of some sort, in the girl's hair above her left shoulder. I don't recognize the symbol or initials.

That looks very typical of pixel art from the demo scene... that might be a good place to start hunting.

You can Google Image Search the filename, actually. Dialup and a PC crash are what slowed me down.
