Looking for a UK online dating service with a particular gimmick...

It's the one where the friends of the individual looking for a date put up an advert and vet the responses. I cannae find it on Google or del.icio.us, and there's a neuron replacement bus service running to my amygdala this morning. Does anyone remember what it is?

Not what you asked but I got dragged to one of these things the other day to hold someone's hand who didn't want to go on their own and it wasn't anything like I thought it would be, if you went with your mate you get to talk to the same potential partners.

Oh man, I wish that web site (mysinglefriend.com) covered the US also. I have a fabulous female friend who will not do the interent date thing no matter how much I try to get her to. I would love to do it for her. What a great idea. I need one here in the US. I'm gonna do some googling and try to find a similar site here in the US.
