Quien es going on?

I don't speak Spanish (trying to learn)and I have gotten hooked on a few telenovelas such as Rebelde. Does anyone know of a source-either English or Spanish-that would give a synopsis of these shows? I just gotta find out what's going on!

No link, but since you say you're trying to learn, it's "¿Qué es going on?" 'Quién' is 'who'.

Oops.

Lo siento!

This isn't foolproof, because the pages are not uniformly designed, but Univision has detailed and devoted forums for its telenovelas, like this one for La fea más bella.

They'll be good reading practice as long as they're not written in Spanish AIM-speak, too!

To check out the other shows on Univision, start at their telenovelas home page, and choose your favorite. The words to look for are "resumenes" (summaries/plots) and "foros" (forums). Some of the forums are dedicated to discussion though, and will be much less readable and much less helpful.

Actually, here are the summaries of Rebelde from the show's "official website" - they're using capitulo (episode) - new key word.

I can help with the Spanish resources but am a foreigner in the world of telenovelas.

Thank you!

Ideally I could find a hispanic neighbor to watch with me, but at least this way I will have more incentive to learn.
