TV medical drama with the ghost of a dead patient?

I seem to remember an American TV medical drama in which one of the subplots concerned a patient who had died... but didn't realize he was dead. His ghost wandered around seeking treatment and couldn't understand why nobody paid attention to him. The show may have been "ER" but I'm not sure. Any one else remember this?

Kingdom Hospital is what I thought of when I read that.

I seem to recall this as an episode of St. Elsewhere, my favorite TV show of the 80's. I can't be 100% sure, though, as I haven't seen it since then ...

"Follies of the Living—Concerns of the Dead", season 10, American comedy-drama series "M*A*S*H".

There's also at least two episodes of "Scrubs" that do this...I won't spoil it for those who haven't watched the show, though. You're looking for a drama and Scrubs is a comedy, so it looks an awful lot like it's a popular plot.

Not a medical drama, but the same plot in a memorable "Twilight Zone".
