Question: Site for free music to add to slideshow of holiday snaps?

I am putting together a slide show of some photos of our recent holiday to Europe and would like to add some theme music to appropriate photos. Is there a site that has free/open source no-cost music that might be suitable to add to a slide show? The format of tracks is not that important (mp3 is fine) but I would prefer a site that had tracks sorted by type/genre eg. Italian, or holiday, etc.

Have you tried Metafilter Music

Slightly off-topic, but iMovie (for the mac) allows you to add DRM'd music to movies / slideshows. Given that Apple try to enforce the law in these situations, it may be that for your own personal use, there are no legal restrictions on what you can place on slideshows.

if you only want a couple of songs then why not go with iTunes. I did that for a friend's dad's 70 birthday slideshow and after going back and forth trying to find a suitable song from either my or her collection of music, we found the perfect jazz song on iTunes.

It's already catalogued for easy search and it's got plenty of options. I had previously told myself I'd never feed the iTunes machine but when I needed it, it sure made my life easy.
