Good vets in London?

Personal recommendations for a vet in London? Somewhere near Islington, ideally.

A friend of a friend is moving there, and has a dog that needs fairly regular care. She'd like to find a vet other people trust, rather than just taking a stab in the Yellow Pages.

It's not wildly close to Islington, but we used a vet called Anamour in Wembley up until moving away from London last year. They were lovely, and clearly cared a great deal about the animals in their care (it's a privately owned husband and wife team). One of our cats had a complicated blood disorder that they were very thorough in diagnosing and caring for. I would definitely strongly recommend, particularly if there are complicated needs.
