Running Clubs for Los Angeles Marathon

Reviews on running clubs for Los Angeles Marathon?

I would like to run the 2007 LA marathon and would like to join a running club. I've heard about the Roadrunners and the LA Leggers. Is there an advantage to running with the Roadrunners as they are the official running club of the LA marathon? What are your dislikes/likes about these clubs? Thanks!

I would credit my completion of the LA Marathon to my training with the LA Leggers. However, I have no familiarity with the other clubs, and that was a while back (1993).
