Anywhere in the Santa Clara / San Jose area where I can take a really good beginner / intermediate class on photography / digital photography?

Thanks in advance! :D

Santa Clara Adult Education (beware, that site uses Java) has a Basic Digital Photography class. I took their woodworking class many years ago and was relatively pleased with it.

If you're willing to drive a little further and pay a little (well, a lot) more, take a look at Stanford Continuing Studies (scroll down to "Art Studio"). The classes are usually in Palo Alto. The Black and White Photography is at a basic level, and it looks like the other ones listed for the fall are a little more intermediate. The Stanford classes are usually taught by professors, experts, or professional artists. I suspect you would get a lot out of it. And if you can't afford it this semester, I believe they usually offer the Black and White Photography class at least once a year, if not more.

San Jose City College has some too, but I can't vouch for how good they are.

UCSC Extension has some good classes, too. Despite the name they're generally in Cupertino.
