Notify a Yahoogroup about blog updates?

Can you automatically notify a Yahoo group that a blog using the blogger.com engine has been updated?

I run a web site that has a news page, which is really just a blog using the blogger.com interface/engine. We also have an associated mailing list, which is run using the yahoogroups interface.

I'm wondering if there's anyway to automatically send an email to the Yahoogroup that the news page (blog) has been updated? My guess is no, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

Have you looked at "Settings:E-Mail" on Blogger? It looks like it might do what you are want.

Otherwise, you should look for an RSS->E-mail gateway service. I think there are a couple.

Best answer: Yeah, you can use RSS to Email gateways for this. RssFwd and MyBlogAlerts both do this. The trick will be getting one of them subscribed to the Yahoo Group. It might be easiest to set up your own email address, subscribe it to the group, and then have it auto-forward everything from the gateway to the Yahoo Group.
