Is there a list of employers that provide health insurance to part time employees somewhere on the internet?

I am a student that currently pays around 70 dollars a month thru my school, but it doesn't include vision, dental, counseling or prescriptions. I am thinking about getting a part time job (say 20-25 hrs) and I would like to get a good insurance policy as well. I do know that Starbucks has good benefits, but it wouldn't be high on my list of choices. Does the hive mind have any suggestions?

If you find an employer that doesn't offer insurance for part-time employees, you can just get an independent plan.

You can't always get independent plans, such as when you have pre-existing conditions. I don't think that applies here, but in the good old USA it's not your right to always have health insurance.

Both the major grocery chains in the Chicago area do: Jewel (owned by Albertsons) and Dominick's (owned by Safeway).

A lot of companies offer benefits to workers with 20 or more hours per week. Be aware that even if you're hired at 20 hours per week, some of those employers may play scheduling games to keep you under the minimum and deny you benefits.

Fred Meyer, as mentioned by calistasm above, and its cousin QFC, is owned by Kroger's, which may be in your area.

Container Store, Fedex, Whole Foods and Edward Jones are some of the companies that offer health insurance to part-timers.
