How do I remove "autofill" form choices from Firefox? For example, for my gmail account I once mistyped my user name and that mistyped name always appears in the list of user names to select from. Or on the URL entry field on Firefox, suppose you once entered a URL for a site that you really don't want to show up again as one of the sites to choose from.

The obvious way (at least for me) to remove one of these entries is to provide a right-click menu option for removal, but that capabilty doesn't seem to exist.

Is there anyway to remove these entries that you never want to see again?

On my copy, it's just Tools->ClearPrivateData, then check the appropriate boxen.

To selectively delete entries, use arrow keys to select and then press shift+delete

Yes, great news. I'm sick of having to delete all my saved form info every time I mistakenly type a password into a username field.

You can also use the Form History Manager extension to mess around with this stuff en masse.

the first is an FF ext, the second, a Windows Tray icon

View Saved passwords button

Higlight, then "remove" as required. The shift-delete trick doesn't work with just one password.

Shift-delete works on remembered info in the address bar as well, I might add.
