Dog discussion websites for the Dallas area?

I'm looking for a Dallas website with forums where I could chat about dogs (local dog parks, good trainers, veterinarians). I've been using craigslist but would like something geared more towards Texas (Dallas/Addison area). The CL pet section just doesn't have enough local people to chat with and I'm not sure where else to look.

The site doesn't have to be solely for Texans, but I would like it to have an area sectioned off for it (such as CL has).

It doesn't look like it has an area solely devoted to Texans, but Dogster is (obviously) for dog owners (it's Friendster for dogs!), and there is a forum area. Maybe do some digging around in there - or even post this question there to see if anyone there knows anything.

Last I heard, the White Rock Lake Dog Park was undergoing a (rather slow) redesign, which will include a (working) discussion forum when it's complete, so you may want to check back there sporadically.

Alternatively, you could start a Dallas or DFW group on Dogster and invite some locals -- try to build it up yourself.

I used to frequent GoodPaws and liked it. They don't have location-specific forums, but there are places to post community events and such. The people there are very nice, and tend to do a good job of keeping control of internet melodrama. (For some reason internet melodrama seems to run rampant on other pet-related sites.)
