California Real Estate Broker Exam Test Prep books

California Real Estate Broker Exam: I'm looking for the best self-study books for this exam.
I will be taking the California Real Estate Broker Exam later this summer and am looking for study guide recommendations. Since most of the California-specific broker exam books offered on Amazon seem to receive farily low reviews, I am appealing to the collective green mind.
I'm not interested in course recommendations (my last two test-prep courses (Kaplan LSAT and BarBri) were, IMO, a waste of time, except for the included study books), just self-study materials.
In addition to books, I'm also interested in links to any meaningful online test prep materials (like recent past exams or sample exams).
