Light video editing on the Mac

Recommend free or low cost Mac video solution for light editing (resizing, rotating and compression export) please.
Yeah, we played with iMovie, but it doesn't seem like enough. This is video from a digital camera, nothing heavy, but the video needs to be rotated 90 degrees, clippped a bit (take out some slow parts) and compressed for web viewing (the files are currently about 20 megs). We'll probably need to do this more often, but not regularly and of course we have no budget so we'd like something free or really low cost. Does such a thing exist? Have we missed the hidden power of Imovie?

Best answer: This plugin for iMovie is free, and will do the rotating. FYI, when you rotate 90 degress, you'll lose part of the image.
iMovie will do everything else you've asked about, so take a look at some tutorials before you go spend money.
