CA labor hearing

Has anyone had experience going to a California labor board hearing. My friend has a dispute with a former employer over breaks. He didn't get any, even though he should have.

Bring a lawyer.

That seems like it would only really be advisable if the money at issue were over a certain value.

If a lot of employees were similarly mistreated, you might have a class action available. Email me at the address at my profile; two good friends are employee-side class action lawyers in California and might be able to help.
