Any good current animes in the process of being aired? I'm watching Blood+ and Ergo Proxy, but I need more quality shows. Links to your favorite English fansubbers would be greatly appreciated.

Suzumiya Haruhi is just finishing, and Binchoutan has finished. Ouran High School Host Club is still running, and a lot of people seem to think it's pretty good.

Here's a post which lists all the Japanese series for the summer season.

Here's a broadcast schedule.

It's not really anime, exactly, but "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is a fun cartoon on Nickelodeon. "Heavily anime-influenced" would be my closest description.

It's aimed at teens, but as an adult, I find it highly watchable. GREAT voices, good animation, a sense of humor, and characters with a bit of complexity. It's a high-quality production.

They're in the middle of their second season.

Black Lagoon just finished airing in Japan. The english fansubs are running a few episodes behind, so they won't be done for a little while. Mindless action, but fun.

I just found and have become a big fan of Ōban Star-Racers. It's airing on Jetix in the US. It's only a couple of episodes in and I found the first 5 or so easily on bittorrent.
