PetFilter: Need kennel/boarding recommendations in the Silver Spring, MD/Montgomery County, MD area (or along the I-95 North corridor as we will be traveling to Philadelphia).

In search of a very nice kennel (preferably ABKA member) for a short 2 day/1 night stay for my precious puppy-wuppy-kins. I would prefer that the kennel be on the "comfy/plush" side, as puppy-wuppy-kins is a pampered pooch.

Bonus points for facilities that allow Sunday pick-up.

When we lived in Silver Spring (up until last year, that is) we were always confident in Preston Country Club for Pets in Columbia, MD. Just up Route 29. Dogs were always happy and healthy when we picked them up. I think they have Sunday pick up by appointment and it costs extra, If I recall correctly.

Not sure about Sunday pickup but Best Friends Fur-Ever is right off 95 in Joppa on the north side of Baltimore. I don't use them personally but several coworkers use them and are really happy with the level of care.

Not for puppies but I loved CHAT-- Cat Hospital At Towson. You might call them and ask for a recommendation. They treated my dear Miles The Cat very well, so they probably know of a comparable dog place.
