Obscure Canadian TV Showfilter: Anyone remember the name of a kids/teens series made in the mid-nineties about a teenage boy who's in a coma?

I vaguely recall him being in some sort of dream world where kids are running the world. My brother was an extra in the show (he appeared regularly as one of the dork/scientists, if anyone remembers them) and I'm curious if I could pick up the series on DVD somewhere. I've already covered my father looking like a weirdo in an episode of the X-Files, wearing a red turban and a moo-moo looking thing, so it's time to move onto my brother.
