Joy Luck Club band mystery

Has anyone ever heard of a 1997 alternative rock band called Joy Luck or Joy Luck Club? (NOT Joy Division)

They had a hit that peaked around July 1997. I lived in Okla City at the time and the local Clear Channel alternative station had the song in rotation (the band also did one performance in OKC). I'm having no luck with Google since search returns are totally polluted by the Joy Luck Club novel and film. I'm aware they might just be a local band that got local airplay, but I can't figure it out one way or the other.

Looks like they were on Hollywood Records, but the album may be out of print.

Good Luck

Can you tell us what the band sounded like?

I might as well throw in Australian girl-folk-ish group Club Hoy.

There was a band around here called the Joy Lick Club, but as far as I know, they had no hits and no airplay.
