Science Fiction story about hypnosis

SciFiFilter: Trying to track down a story about a professor and several students who travel to alternate dimensions through the power of hypnosis.

Some of the bits that stuck with me:

one character dies, and becomes an angel, and the professor explains that this is because she believed she would. If the atheist student had died, he would have ceased to exist.

There was one world where time went backwards, and one where skin was transparent.

It was probably from the seventies or late sixties, based on the whole "Professor who teaches students to expand their mind" aspect.

"Elsewhen" by Robert Heinlein?

That's definitely what it is. It was originally written in 1941, and was collected into the book "Assignment in Eternity" in 1953.

Is there a copy of that story anywhere online?

Oooooh. Did one of the students become a dwarf-type creature? I've been trying to think of this story's name for years!

Divabat, it's still under copyright.

Agropyron, yes.
