Question: Help me judge this book by its cover.

Help me judge this book by its cover. I'm looking for the title and/or author of fairly recently released book that has a man in a suit underwater on the cover.

Help me identify this book: the cover has a man in a suit (with a tie that I recall as being red, possibly?). His tie may or may not be floating up. Air bubbles are visible coming out from his mouth. The background was entirely black - the only other thing on the cover besides this guy was the title. I also recall one of the quotes on the back cover being from either Dave Eggers or David Foster Wallace. This was in the new release section sometime during the last year at a Barnes & Noble.

I remember reading the front flap and it sounding very interesting. I also vaguely remember the first page starting with a line something like "I thought you were dead." or "You thought I was dead."

Any help would be great, because I really want to find this book and read it now that I have the time. Thanks!
