Help Me Fight Crime With The Proper Hat

Hat/Costumefilter - Help me find this hat! I'm working on a costume for Halloween already, but I'm having a devil of a time finding the proper hat

I've decided to go as The Shadow, pulp crime fighter and that guy who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men.
In the pulp, it's called a slouch hat, but the slouch hats I've found here and here really don't seem to match up with the hat worn by Alec Baldwin in the movie version, seen here, here, and big picture here.
It almost looks like a fedora, but the brim looks to be larger than the standard fedora. Looks almost like a zoot suit hat, too. Snooping around eBay comes up with things like this.
Any costumers got any suggestions out there? What the heck did they use in the movie and where can I find one of those suckers?
I promise to use my newfound hypnotic powers for good and not for evil.
