Simple groupware

I need some very basic groupware. It has to have file-sharing, calendar and discussion-board. It should be able to run on a java or php enabled server. Open source or free solutions are preferred.

The main problem with solutions suggested in earlier questions is that they are too complex. I don't need a full project or content management system. I just need the very basics.

For a software engineering project I'm on, we were given a basic tooling set based on PunBB. Basically, we use PunBB + Calendar + SubVersion.

But there may be other file-sharing tools available for PunBB, such as PunUploadExtra or PunDownload, although I haven't used those.

(Note: I have no experience with installing these things myself, but I can't imagine it's much harder than any other PHP-based forum software)

Was Basecamp already mentioned?

I'm a Basecamp devotee, but I was researching a similar question recently and came across PHProjekt. I have no direct experience with it, but it looks interesting.

The group I work with has been using WebCollab for a year. We have found it very useful. It has forums for each project, file uploads, calendar and the main project page has a nice graphic to quickly show how much has been done. There is a demo available.

It can be a resource hog, but Groove does exactly what you're looking for.
