Where's the best place to watch the World Cup in Los Angeles? Looking for general recommendations, and also suggestions as to where might be a good World Cup event or viewing party.

Last time around, I watched in a variety of bars, but by far the most fun and comfortable was at Cafe Do Brasil, because they don't serve beer. So if you arrived early enough the overflow from Zabumba has not piled in, and you can get a table with your six-packs of beer from across the street and make fast friends. Add some delicious Brazilian food, and that's an evening! I had a friend who went to Pico Rivera when Mexico played, Zabumba for Brasil, Koreatown for Korea, The Bulldog for England, etc... I think he found the Koreatown crowds by far the most entertaining.
