Which University of Missouri is this?

I was chatting with someone who said they went to the University of Missouri-_____. I don't remember the blank, but it was something like "Boura?". They said it was formerly known as Missouri of the Mind? I was fairly out of it, so details are definitely wrong but does anyone know which one this is?

Best answer: You're thinking of University of Missouri-Rolla aka School of Mines (as in lead mines).

Man, what kind of accent made "Rolla" (pro-nounced "rah-luh" by locals) come out like "Boura"? Or should I say... what kind of liquor?

Best answer: It'd have to be Rolla, since just about every other unit of the UM system has an acronym or other name to go by - UMSL (um-sell), SEMO, Mizzou, Southwest...

It'd be an accent incompatible with yankee.

Another possibility is University of Missouri-Columbia, a.k.a. Mizzou.
