You'll want to go here, sign up for a free trial of IMDBPro, and contact his agent. Be forewarned--it's highly likely you'll get a "no." Generally speaking, if you've heard of someone, they're too high-profile to play your wedding/bar mitzvah/fundraiser/etc. posted by EarBucket at 4:00 AM on May 25, 2006
This page lists UK music agencies and "Ronan Keating" is under "Solo Agency", here's their website. Click "Contact us" for the email. Good luck!

That's not really the case these days. If you've got enough money, you can hire just about *any* singer/band to play your event. posted by antifuse at 4:09 AM on May 25, 2006
If it's a corporate event and you're looking for a concert, you can try this place.
If it's a public event that might generate some exposure for Ronan, you can also try contacting the PR person at his record company. posted by gfrobe at 5:13 AM on May 25, 2006
I've been doing this sort of sourcing for a little while now for my company. I may be able to give some pointers on how to approach agents. Email in profile. posted by dirtynumbangelboy at 7:21 AM on May 25, 2006

I was listening to some podcast recently about this issue, and apparently almost anyone can be hired. Apparently, 50 Cent has no problem dropping some rhymes at Bar Mitzvah's. posted by mkultra at 10:53 AM on May 25, 2006
's true... just about everyone is for hire, if you have the cash. Some of them will simply up the quote and price themselves out of the market, thus retaining a lot more control over what they pick and choose. I know that I've seen a few quote sheets recently that made a lot of eyebrows go up.
"$washed_up_shitty_musician is $500K??"
A lot of them don't like doing corporate/private gigs, for a multitude of reasons. So they drive the price incredibly high on the basis that if someone's going to pay it, then at least it's a hell of a chunk of cash.
And of course, for some of them it's sheer ego. posted by dirtynumbangelboy at 3:45 PM on May 25, 2006
