Heard from God lately?

Prompted by Pat Robertson's uncommon access to God, I am curious to know whether any MeFites have had the privilege of having God talk to them personally.
This post was deleted for the following reason: God told me to delete this for this reason and to that I say, amen.
Do you mean burning-bush style? I don't know anyone who has had a hand reach out of the clouds and a voice echo through the mountains or that sort of thing. I believe that God has spoken to me, but it's not like I get a phone call.

If I were comfortable being a scam artist who's livelyhood depended on my followers thinking I had an in with God I sure would. I'm not a scam artist so I can't claim to hear any voices.

Not since he told me to stop talking acid.

To which god are you referring? This is an honest question, because if you mean the Judeo-Christo-Islamic Monodeity, no, but I've conversed with several others.

I have experiences in which my perception is that I am in the presence of, and receiving communication from, an entity that I refer to as God, if that's what you mean.
I can't imagine why I'd bother with religion if I didn't. I've never felt burdened with the feeling that other people should adopt deep and meaningful beliefs on the basis of my experiences either, though.
Feel free to email me with specific questions if you are genuinely interested in the variety of religious experience.
