Where can I rent a frozen margarita machine in New York for one night?

My friend's birthday is coming up, and he has his heart set on renting a margarita machine for his party. Does anyone know where he can rent one in or near NYC at a reasonable price? He's been quoted $400 for the one night, but is looking for something (a lot) lower.

He's called a bunch of party rental type places, and visited the restaurant supply stores on Bowery without any luck.

Well, I found Mr Margarita Margarita Machine Rentals... but they don't seem to have a NY distributor.. they do have NJ though.

Then I found Margarita Man but they have no NY location either.

while this doesn't help you exactly, it does confirm that there are places that rent them. I'd suggest busting out a phone book and going through the list if you want it that badly.

Upon further review: getmargaritas.com might serve NY also.

How many people are going to attend? Would a regular old blender suffice?

He's tried getmargaritas.com, but no one answered. I've been told that blenders will not suffice, unfortunately.

He's expecting 20-30 people.
