How do I install a PC game on MacBook Pro running Parallels?

Has anyone successfully installed CivIII or Age of Empires on a MacBook Pro running Win XP SP2 over Parallels?

Installation goes fine, but Windows complains that a CD isn't present in the drive when I attempt to load the game. However, I can browse to the cd under 'My Computer'.

Sidestep, but you do realize there are OS X native versions of both games, right?

I've had lots of trouble getting Parallels to properly recognize CDs, but using the latest version (as of two weeks ago -- the one that includes the cube rotation transition) remedied most of the problems.

Also, there are questionably legal cracks available for both those games that remove the requirement to have the game CD in the drive when you play. If you own the games, then crack away (I say).
