Help me find my 9th grade english teacher

I'm trying to get in touch with one of my middle school english teachers. I've found everyone I've ever looked for by using google but this guy is totally eluding me.

His name is Gordon V. Harter. He was an English teacher for Naples American High School/Forrest Sherman High School (DODDS) during the 1980's in Naples, Italy. Can you help me with the search? Do you have any ideas how I can continue? I've searched high and low and with no results. Perhaps he just hasn't left an internet trail. Any ideas?

Naples American High School has a website and contact information. Have you tried emailing them?

Perhaps you could try contacting the school. There might still be people working there who know his current whereabouts.

ZabaSearch seems to know of a Gordon V. Harter (born Feb 1940) in southern California -- have you ruled that one out?

Response by poster: Wow Eater, considering the locals of Palm Springs and Pasadena, that might well be my man. He was originally from the mid-west but he was definately a "Palm Springs" kinda guy. I'll follow that up. Thanks.

Well, if you haven't been able to google him before, he will certainly show up now that you've posted his full name and employment history on Mefi. Now that you have your answer, you might want to consider asking Matt to edit this post for the sake of the guy's privacy.

Somebody else was looking for/wondering about him back in 1999 on this page, you could try the email address she gives and see if she had any luck, or let her know if you have found him.
