Help! My notebook is sliding everywhere!

One of the rubber "feet" on the bottom of my notebook computer came off and I can't seem to find it. Where can I purchase a replacement? I called technical support (Gateway), and they said they do not ship them nor can they repair it in their warehouse.

eBay!. I bought replacement rubber feet for my powerbook on eBay a while ago. They stick on like stickers-- works great!

I use globs of glue from a gluegun to make my own rubber feet.

3M calls them bump-ons.

Home Depot (or really, any hardware store) will have adhesive rubber bumpers. Odds are one will fit the bottom of your laptop.

No answer here but I have had the same thing happen on my notebook from Gateway. Overall, I have been very happy with reliability, speed, etc. but I had a real problem with the chassis - there was cracking on the hinge. It's a known issue apparently, so watch for it. I had it repaired once and they only glued it together, so I had to send it off again. In total, my laptop was gone for 3 months out of the first 7. The feet dropped off within the first week I had it, and I was only using it at home. Customer service was terrible, too. Boo, Gateway.
