Good endocrinologists in downtown Chicago?

Are you diabetic and see an endocrinologist that you're happy with in downtown Chicago?

I have a friend who lives and works in downtown Chicago, and very much needs to find a good endocrinologist in the downtown area, as he is extremely dissatisfied with his current one.

He is currently dealing with Type II diabetes, although he is concerned he may be heading into Type I diabetes.

(His health insurance is BlueCross BlueShield PPO, which means that most endocrinologists will probably be in the plan.)

If you have any questions, I will relay your queries to him and convey his responses to the list. Much thanks in advance.

I saw Erika Sinsheimer in Skokie-- I'm not diabetic, but I thought Erika was pretty sharp. Her profile says "diabetes" in it-- maybe she could help. If downtown is a requirement, maybe she can refer. She's located right beside Old Orchard mall, just off of 94 at Old Orchard Road. Very easy to get to, plentiful parking. Good luck!
