Help me send a last minute gift to my love in London!

I'm looking for an anniversary gift I can order online to be delivered in London tomorrow. It's for my fiancee; he's in London and I'm in Australia (boo!).

It's been one frickin' excellent year, and I'd like to send him something to celebrate; only thing is, it's gotta be delivered tomorrow, Wednesday, May 3rd! I thought first of flowers, 'cause he loves them and I've ordered him posies through Interflora before, but if possible, I'd like send something different this time.

A little about him: avid record collector, loves chocolate (is mildly obsessed with Cadbury mini-rolls, so if there's any way of sending him a truckload of those tomorrow, that'd be perfect), and seafood in all its forms. I am contemplating sending wild salmon or caviar or such, but the places I've found online don't have a fast enough turnaround. I realise I've left it far too late, but any suggestions would be enormously helpful!

If you want to send salmon or caviar, why not call a food market in your fiance's area? At worst, you could always have a messenger go to the food market and pick up the caviar and then go to your fiance's place.

Response by poster: (Oops. Superfluous "e" in "fiancé"; sorry!)

The Real Eating Company has some fantastic meats, cheeses, chocolates, and baked goods. Once I got a care package from them sent by my girlfriend at the time. It was fantastic!

They should be able to deliver by tomorrow if you call them now. It's already almost 4:30 p.m. here as you know.

you should totally check out My Question From The Past! a courier service seems to be a good bet, although i don't know what's up with international credit card workings.

If you need it, I'd be happy to help collection/delivery-wise (e-mail in profile).

How about Harrod's?
This link goes to the Chocolates section (online) but there are also other gift options there. as well.

Read through their Terms and Conditions for delivery and fees I linked you to their customer service page, which lists telephone numbers you could call now for tomorrow delivery

Quintessentially classy, there are a couple gift hampers that could be of interest.

Not a greta selection but quick or these have teddys or cheese. These people will also do same day delivery on loadsaboystoys but you will have to call for a quote.

Response by poster: Thanks so much, everyone - especially katiecat (such a kind offer!) - there are some great suggestions here, and I appreciate the ideas. I've already ordered flowers as a back-up, but will probably order some stuff from the Real Eating Company too. Even if it gets there a bit late, who doesn't love treats? Their chocolate brownies look amazing. And I might get him some kippers since I know he's never tried them.

Response by poster: Oh, but if anyone has more ideas, keep 'em coming! This is great.

Their chocolate brownies look amazing.

I can confirm that they are, and are even more so if they're sent as a surprise from someone who loves you.

What Meetmegan said. I once had an hour to get a copy of a particular British magazine to an agent's office in LA... and I was in London. Three calls to LA bookstores to find a copy of the mag, one call to a courier company, and it was done. Anything's possible as long as you get someone cool on the other end of the phone.
