More folklore and evermore

I'm absolutely obsessed with a Spotify playlist that intersperses Taylor swift's folklore and evermore albums. I can't get enough! I like reputation too but not in the same way. Haven't explored her other albums. I'm also obsessed with both of Julien Baker's albums, and with Banks as well. What else should I listen to?

Definitely check out Taylor Swift’s other albums, starting with Lover. Reputation is a bit of an outlier for her.

Wait wait wait. First explain the foundation of the question. This Swiftie wants to know. So, the premise is that you take Folklore and Evermore and just alternate songs. So: The 1, Willow, Cardigan, Champagne Problems, Last Great American Dynasty, Gold Rush, etc. etc.? And it's good? It works?

Or do you mean something else?

I'm not a fan of Reputation. I think Midnights is meh. But I love Folklore, like Evermore and Lover. Of all her albums, though, 1989 is my favorite. It's perfect.

The Badass playlist on Spotify is excellent - I bet you'd find some good stuff there, including a lot that is in this AskMe. I particularly think you'd like the following artists:

Ethel Cain (especially American Teenager - very Swift-esque)
Phoebe Bridgers
Lucy Dacus
boygenius
Better Oblivion Community Centre (Phoebe Bridgers with Connor Oberst from Bright Eyes)
Soccer Mommy
Waxahatchee
Big Thief
Julia Jacklin
Stella Donnelly
Faye Webster
Fiona Apple
Aimee Mann
Mitski

Just thought of one more: Lana Del Rey. Lana uses the same producer as Taylor does for a lot of her work (Jack Antonoff) and I have found that Taylor's Folklore and Evermore seem to be a response to Lana's recent albums - probably most inspired by her album Norman Fucking Rockwell. Check out Mariners Apartment Complex for a sample.
