Sedentary multiplayer Oculus VR experiences?

I play Oculus Quest 2 games with a couple of friends every week. One of them is disabled and can only play seated with the right hand controller, and with limited motion and limited energy. We're looking for more games to try.

So far we've been sticking to Walkabout Mini Golf and Real VR Fishing. The latter has been more popular because some of the golf courses can get frustrating.

Any other similar experiences we can try? Something more interactive than just watching a movie, and something we can pick up and put down in an hour while shooting the breeze. We'd prefer to play as a private party.

Some of the other games I've tried don't work so well. Like, the ForeVR bowling game is difficult to control and too noisy. Things like VRChat and Rec Room are just too fiddly and frustrating. Many other games require two controllers. Anything that requires too much dexterity like ping pong is a no-go.

What are some other very very chilled out VR games we can try?

Sedentary oculus games are great. Definitely my preference. There's not that many that exist though? Which imo is a huge gap.

Best answer: I've had a wonderful visit with a friend in Wander, where we took each other to different spots in 3-d google maps.

Best answer: I think they might be able to do The Room with just one hand - and you can definitely do it seated. It's a puzzle/escape room game and really fun if you like that kind of thing (which I do).

Demeo is like a VR tabletop DnD game with cards, where you use the cards for spells/attacks and move your characters around a 3d space (like you would pieces on a game board, the characters are small and tabletop). Definitely doable one-handed while sitting. This is my strongest recommendation because you can do it together, unlike the Room, and requires very little energy.

I'm less sure about this one - and it's not technically a game - but Ocean Rift is really cool. Exploration of various underwater environments and their denizens. You use both controllers to steer yourself at things - but if I'm recalling correctly, you may be able to change the controller set-up enough that you could do it one-handed.

If all of you have computers you can tether your HMDs to, that opens up a whole world of PC games with VR support. Might be too fiddly, though, if VRChat is already too fiddly. I'm a big fan of driving/flight simulators, so I don't have much input on specific titles that would be friendly to a single Quest controller, but there's probably more PC games than Quest games, so, better options, potentially.

Best answer: Seconding Wander. I have a friend that I traveled a bunch with ~20 years ago, we've since gone on to live our lives, as you do, but for the past year or so have had a monthly Wander "date". You can make a private room, and have everyone just "follow" whoever wants to drive. And then just chat. I hate phone calls but have really enjoyed getting back together to virtually travel. Sometimes we just hit random, sometimes whatever has been in the news, sometimes it's just wandering down mountain roads.

Demeo would also be very good, I'd think, if you were looking to do "something" rather than just chat with scenery.
